Josie Vano

Josie is an artist and educator helping clients explore possibility through play. They are earning a Master’s degree in Expressive Arts Therapy from Lesley University, learning to utilize the full range of creative expression to achieve therapeutic goals. While Josie specializes in working with children and adolescents, they have experience supporting clients from ages 2-82 in developing positive peer relationships, improving social skills, and navigating challenging environments & life transitions. Josie utilizes person-centered and humanistic approaches to therapy that focus on leveraging clients’ strengths while working toward positive change.

Sessions with Josie incorporate play, mindfulness, and a range of creative arts which may include visual art, photography, music, drama, movement, writing, and more. Each session is tailored to the individual client, considering your unique constellation of interests, goals, strengths, and challenges.
