Attendees of this workshop will learn practical and ethical implications related to working with clients through the transition process. This training will provide affirmative techniques to best assist clients presenting with concerns related to gender. This workshop is approved for 3 Ethics CEUs for Counselors, Social Workers & MFTs.
Sara Satterlee (she/her) graduated from Walsh University with a Master's degree in Counseling and Human Development and has a background in Psychology and Sociology. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. She collaborates with adults, adolescents and children on their journey to wellness on a variety of presenting concerns.
Sara specializes in supporting clients on gender exploration and transition. She works with transgender, gender fluid, and gender questioning adolescents and adults. Sara has expertise in developing and implementing clinical treatment groups for clients with gender dysphoria. Currently, Sara facilitates a support group, TRANScend, in Stark County.
