Cypress is a current student at Kent State University. They are currently pursuing their Masters of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and are eager to be interning at the Azalea Institute! Cypress earned their BA in Psychology with a minor in Art & Design at Hiram College. They have an interest in working with any age group, as well as the LGBTQ+ community. Their theoretical background is eclectic, but primarily based in DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), MI (Motivational Interviewing), and Narrative theory. They are under the supervision of Ashley Klingelsmith, IMFT-S, LPCC-S, F.1500026-SUPV, E.0700438-SUPV.
