Cypress is a graduate of Kent State University (Masters of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling). They have also earned their BA in Psychology with a minor in Art & Design at Hiram College. They have an interest in working with any age group, as well as the LGBTQ+ community. Their theoretical background is eclectic, but primarily based in DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), MI (Motivational Interviewing), and Narrative theory. They are under the supervision of Ashley Klingelsmith, IMFT-S, LPCC-S, F.1500026-SUPV, E.0700438-SUPV.
