Angie is a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in couples therapy. She has her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from the University of Akron. Fusing Gottman techniques with EFT principles, Angie works with couples to help them identify negative patterns and break out of destructive cycles, especially focusing on communication blocks. Angie also works with individuals and adolescents on a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, grief/loss, and feeling overwhelmed. She uses Mindfulness, Solution Focused, and CBT techniques and is also able to incorporate faith-based principles, per client request. She has completed EMDR training in order to more effectively work with clients on trauma. Angie is under the supervision of Megan Miranda, Ph.D, IMFT-S, LPCC-S, F.1400021-SUPV, E.1200639-SUPV
