Amber is an artist and facilitator who creates spaces for community transformation and healing through utilizing the arts. Amber is currently working towards obtaining a Masters in Art Therapy and Counseling at Ursuline College, and is trained in EMDR. She is passionate about somatic (body-rooted) approaches to therapy that utilize the expressive arts (drawing, painting, poetry, theatre, dance, etc.), the power of culture, and the magic of storytelling. Amber is passionate about the flourishing of BIPOC communities, LGBTQ+ communities, and celebrates the spectrum of neurodiversity. She believes we have all tools within ourselves to heal, and sees herself as a companion in the journey. If talk therapy hasn't been working, if you find yourself "stuck," or if you want therapy sessions that involve art and play as part of processing, Amber may be a fit for you. Amber is under the supervision of Katharine Fertig MSW, LISW-S, LICDC, EMDRIA approved consultant, I.2002388-SUPV., LICDC,162392.
