Megan Miranda Ph.D
Dr. Megan Miranda received her doctoral degree from The University of Akron in Counselor Education and Supervision with a specialty in Marriage and Family Therapy. She has years of experience working with couples, families and individuals ranging from early childhood through late adulthood on a variety of presenting concerns. She specializes in treating trauma. She is trained in EMDR therapy and has a passion for assisting those she works with to gain self-compassion through understanding the neurobiological impact of trauma on mood and behaviors. Her therapy dog, Lilly, joins her in session.
She is a seasoned educator and has taught several Master’s-level Counseling courses as an adjunct faculty member at The University of Akron.
Jessica Fowler MA, LPCC, IMFT
Jess graduated from The University of Akron's Marriage and Family Therapy master's program. Jess has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She specializes in healing from trauma, emotional distress, behavioral concerns, infidelity, anxiety, depression, maternal depression, relational strain, LGBTQ concerns, and assisting to increase self-worth.
Elizabeth Molla MA, LPCC, IMFT
Elizabeth Molla is a graduate from the University of Akron with a Master’s of Education in Marriage and Family Therapy. She is a licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapist and Professional Clinical Counselor. Elizabeth has experience working with couples, families and individuals on a variety of presenting concerns, including: depression, anxiety, trauma, communication, sexuality, maternal depression, and parenting among others. She specializes in treating trauma using EMDR therapy.
She is currently working towards a Doctorate of Philosophy, specializing in marriage and family therapy at The University of Akron.
Joseph Krivos, M.A., LPC, NCC, LICDC
Shawn Burton, Ph.D, LPC
Joe is a graduate of John Carroll University with a Master's of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor in the state of Ohio and has training in EMDR therapy. Joe's clinical focus is working with clients exploring gender and sexuality differences including transgender, gender non-conforming, and LGBQ+ adolescents and adults. He addresses anxiety, depression, trauma, and other concerns through an affirming and multicultural lens.
He is currently completing a Doctorate of Philosophy in Counselor Education and Supervision at Kent State University and is an instructor in Kent's Additions Counseling Certificate Program.
Shawn Burton is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Ohio who has been in the mental health field since 1998. Shawn is currently a doctoral candidate at Kent State University in their Counselor Education and Supervision program. He is also an adjunct instructor at John Carroll University and Youngstown State University. Shawn is LGBQ and Trans affirmative and an advocate of multiculturalism. He works with teenagers from 14-19, college students, and adults on an array of personal, clinical, and career related issues, such as: anxiety, depression, academic and career issues, gender identity and sexuality issues, etc. He feels counseling is a personal and powerful tool that can be used to help you on your journey through life.
Laura DelSignore is a graduate of The University of Akron with a Master’s of Education in Marriage and Family Therapy. Laura has experience working with adolescents, individuals, couples and families. She is trained in EMDR and can assist with a variety of presenting concerns including, anxiety, trauma, depression, domestic violence, LGBTQ+ concerns, anger management and relationship issues.
Laura Delsignore, MA, LPCC, MFT
Lindsey Simons is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Marriage and Family Therapist. She earned her master’s degree from The University of Akron’s Marriage and Family
Therapy program. She has experience working with couples, families, adolescents and individuals, covering an array of topics including depression, anxiety, trauma, family
conflict, marital conflict, and co-parenting. Additional training includes working with families of youth with problem sexual behaviors using Multisystemic Therapy.

Andrea Lisowski is a graduate from Case Western Reserve University with a Master of Science in Social Administration. She is a Licensed Independent Social Worker and Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor. Andrea has experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families. Andrea specializes in treating trauma and is trained in EMDR Therapy and can assist with a variety of presenting concerns including, anxiety, trauma, depression, and substance use concerns. Andrea has training in various evidence-based practices and expressive arts therapies, including dance and yoga interventions.
